Launch-week viewing watch

We keep company with households during a title’s first seven days, including a Friday night and a tired weeknight, and write what actually got played.

A drop date looks clean on a wall calendar. In a Damansara flat it competes with overtime, a school concert, and whatever the continue-watching row already promised. A launch-week watch is there for that mess.

We book at least one Friday or Saturday evening and one midweek night. If the title is a local original, we try to include a household that has followed the talent on broadcast and one that has not. Logs note whether anyone finished the first episode, whether autoplay ran to an empty sofa, and which other titles the room opened “just for a bit” afterwards.

The brief arrives the following week. It will not predict the life of the season. It will tell you how the first seven days felt in particular rooms, which is the window you can still change art, notifications, and the end card.
